Frisky Easy Access Spreader Bar Restraint System

Frisky Easy Access Spreader Bar Restraint System in Canada

The Frisky Easy Access Spreader Bar Restraint System uses a compact 22-inch reinforced bar and four padded cuffs to maintain controlled wrist and ankle positioning during consensual bondage play. The ankle cuffs are positioned approximately 16 inches apart, while the wrist restraints sit about 9 inches apart, creating predetermined spacing without requiring attachment to a bed or furniture. Each cuff combines a durable nylon exterior with softer neoprene against the skin and closes with adjustable hook-and-loop material. Available in Canada from Discreet Life, the system offers a portable alternative to under-mattress restraints when a more structured spreader-bar position is preferred.

22-Inch Reinforced Spreader Bar System

The complete system measures approximately 22 inches long. Its centre section is reinforced with metal and wrapped in nylon, providing a more structured positioning element than flexible straps or bondage tape.

Fixed 16-Inch Ankle Spacing

The ankle cuffs are positioned approximately 16 inches apart. This fixed distance keeps the lower-body restraint points separated rather than allowing the wearer to bring the ankles together freely.

9-Inch Wrist Spacing

The wrist cuffs sit approximately 9 inches apart, creating a second controlled restraint zone on the same compact system. This combination allows the wrists and ankles to be secured within one integrated piece of bondage equipment.

Four Neoprene-Lined Cuffs

Each cuff uses durable nylon on the outside with softer neoprene lining the body-contact side. The adjustable hook-and-loop closures allow the cuffs to be fitted individually while reducing direct contact with the harder central structure.

15-Inch Cuff Circumference

The supplier lists each cuff at approximately 15 inches in circumference. Because the closures are adjustable, fit can be refined within the available range, but the supplied information does not provide separate minimum and maximum circumference measurements.

Portable Positioning Without a Bed

Unlike an under-mattress restraint system, the Easy Access Spreader Bar does not rely on a mattress for its basic positioning function. This gives it more flexibility for suitable floor, bed, or other supported bondage positions, provided the restrained person's body and joints remain safely supported.

Pairs Well With

A purpose-built blackout blindfold can add sensory restriction while the spreader system handles positioning. For experienced partners interested in combining restraint with impact play, paddles and floggers provide additional options when intensity, body-safe target areas, and boundaries have been discussed in advance.

How to Use

• Discuss the intended position, limits, and release signal before attaching any cuffs.
• Position the spreader system so the 16-inch ankle spacing and 9-inch wrist spacing suit the restrained person's natural range of movement.
• Place each neoprene-lined cuff around the appropriate wrist or ankle.
• Secure the hook-and-loop closures firmly enough to hold without compressing circulation.
• Support the restrained person's body so the fixed spacing does not place excessive force on the shoulders, hips, knees, or lower back.
• Monitor circulation and sensation throughout use.
• Release immediately if the wearer reports pain, numbness, tingling, cramping, or joint strain.

Spreader Bar Safety

Fixed limb spacing can place more stress on joints than freely adjustable restraints. Never force the wrists, shoulders, hips, knees, or ankles beyond their comfortable range, and do not use body weight to increase the stretch. Keep the cuff closures accessible, maintain continuous communication, and never leave a restrained person unattended.
