Because this collar is made from heat-reactive PU leather, it possesses a fascinating relationship with temperature. The material responds to the warmth of your skin, which can create subtle shifts in texture and appearance throughout your session. When selecting accessories that sit closely against the neck, it is wise to consider how the material interacts with moisture. While the zinc hardware provides a sturdy, reliable weight, the PU leather remains smooth and consistent. To maintain the integrity of the heat-reactive properties, avoid exposing the collar to extreme temperature fluctuations or harsh chemicals that might compromise its surface finish.
Care for your Heat Tease accessories by wiping them down with a soft, damp cloth after use. Since the hardware contains zinc, which is known in cosmetic science for its soothing and smooth properties, you can rest assured that the metal components are designed to be gentle against the skin. Avoid using heavy oils or abrasive cleaners that could interfere with the reactive nature of the polyurethane. If you find yourself using various topical products or lotions during play, a quick cleaning will help prevent any buildup that might affect the collar’s flexibility or its ability to react to your body heat.
